This October, General Music Director Daniel Barenboim conducts Otto Nicolai’s Die Lustigen Weiber von Windsor at Staatsoper unter den Linden.
The David Bösch production features René Pape as the jovial Sir John Falstaff, alongside Michael Volle (Herr Fluth), Wilhelm Schwinghammer (Herr Reich), Mandy Fredrich (Frau Fluth), Michaela Schuster (Frau Reich), and Anna Prohaska (Junger Anna Reich).
Performances run October 3, 5, 9, 11, with additional performances conducted by Thomas Guggeis on October 13 and 19.
