Barenboim conducts Mozart with Vienna Philharmonic

Beginning May 13, Daniel Barenboim leads the Vienna Philharmonic in concerts that explore the music of Mozart. He begins this orchestral series with a program of Mozart’s last three symphonies, K543, K550, and K551 in Vienna (May 13), Prague (May 15) and Dresden (May 16). Barenboim and the Philharmonic return to Vienna to perform Mozart’s Symphonies Nos. 39 and 41 for concerts on May 19 and 20. Principal flautist of the Vienna Philharmonic Dieter Flury will perform Jacques Ibert’s Concerto for Flute and Orchestra.
