Barenboim conducts Widmann & Tchaikovsky with Berliner Philharmoniker

This Saturday, 6 June, Daniel Barenboim returns to conduct the Berliner Philharmoniker. The Israeli Argentinian conductor will lead Jörg Widmann’s symphonic hymnos Teufel Amor, which takes its title from a fragmentary poem by Friedrich Schiller. Following the interval, Barenboim leads the orchestra in Tchaikovsky’s Sixth Symphony, “Pathétique.”
