This March as part of Festtage 2016, Music Director Daniel Barenboim leads the Staatskapelle Berlin with two celebrated soloists.
On 21 March, Barenboim is joined by tenor Jonas Kaufmann for Mahler’s Lieder eines fahrenden Giselle. The program also highlights Elgar’s Symphony No. 1.
Barenboim and the Staatskapelle Berlin take the stage with featured soloist Yo-Yo Ma for Dvorak’s Cello Concerto on March 24 in a concert that includes Elgar’s Symphony No. 2 as well.
