Barenboim leads Staatsoper Berlin in new production of Beethoven’s “Fidelio”

From October 3 to 28, General Music Director Daniel Barenboim leads the Staatsoper Berlin in Harry Kupfer’s production of Beethoven’s Fidelio.

The premiere performances at the Schiller Theater see Roman Trekel as Don Fernando, Falk Struckmann as Don Pizarro, Andreas Schager as Florestan, Camilla Nylund as Leonore, Matti Salminen as Rocco, Evelin Novak as Marzelline and Florian Hoffmann as Jaquino.
