Daniel Barenboim and the Staatskapelle Berlin continue their exploration of the music of Edward Elgar on their latest release on Decca Classics, out now on iTunes and Amazon.
Barenboim leads the orchestra in Elgar’s landmark Symphony No. 1.
This recording follows the releases of Elgar’s Dream of Gerontius, his Symphony No. 2 in E-flat Major, and – with cellist Alisa Weilerstein – his Cello Concerto in e minor.
