General Music Director Daniel Barenboim and the Staatskapelle Berlin perform two concerts inspired by themes and figures of Greek mythology. They take the stage at the Staatsoper Unter Den Linden on 8 October and at the Berlin Philharmonie on 9 October.
The programs spotlight performances of Beethoven’s Overture to The Creatures of Prometheus, Dvorak’s Cello Concerto, Skalkottas’s The Homecoming of Odysseus, and Ravel’s Daphnis et Chloé. Kian Soltani is featured soloist.
