On October 14, EuroArts releases “Beethoven: Piano Concerts,” by Daniel Barenboim and the Staatskapelle Berlin just in time for his 80th birthday this November. This live recording from the renowned Ruhr Piano Festival in May 2007 reflects both a very individual and special reading of Beethoven’s music and Barenboim’s lifelong dedication to the composer.
