This Sunday, Daniel Barenboim and the Staatsoper im Schiller Theater present a new production of Wagner’s Götterdammerung, the fourth and final installment of director Guy Cassier’s Ring Cycle, which will be performed for the first time in its entirety later this month by the Berlin house as part of the Easter Festtage 2013.
Catch the premiere performances of Cassier’s Götterdammerung on March 3, 6 & 10. The Staatsoper will present the full Ring cycle from March 23 to March 31, with subsequent performances taking place April 4 to 10 and April 13 to 21.
