After leading the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra in its United Arab Emirates debut last month and the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra in Salzburg, Daniel Barenboim returns to Berlin as soloist in Brahms’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in B-flat Major with the Staatskapelle Berlin led by Zubin Mehta. The performances, which open with Messiaen’s Et exspecto resurrectionem morturorum, take place February 10 at the Philharmonie Berlin and February 11 at the Konzerthaus Berlin.
