Complete Beethoven for All Recordings Available from October 15

Beginning October 15, Beethoven for All – Daniel Barenboim’s recording of complete cycles of the composer’s symphonies with the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, the piano concertos with the Staatskapelle Berlin, and the piano sonatas – will be available in stores and online as stand-alone collections and also as a Deluxe Box Set.

Beethoven’s 32 piano sonatas have been a touchstone of Daniel Barenboim’s musical life since childhood and throughout the maestro’s remarkable career. On October 15, Decca Classics releases a complete collection of Beethoven’s piano sonatas, recorded live across eight concerts at the Staatsoper unter den Linden, Berlin in June and July 2005.

On October 22, Decca Classics will release the Deluxe Box Set, which includes all of the symphonies, concertos, and sonatas, as well as a DVD of the documentary It All Starts with a Dream

The complete cycles of Beethoven’s symphonies with the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra and the piano concertos with the Staatskapelle Berlin are already available and can be downloaded from iTunes in a new, high-quality format – "Mastered for iTunes." Purchase them here.
