June 3 at Berlin’s Pierre Boulez Saal, Daniel Barenboim joins a group of artists – many frequent collaborators – to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the death of Claude Debussy. The group includes mezzo-soprano Marianne Crebassa, flutist Emmanuel Pahud, violinist Michael Barenboim, violist Yulia Deyneka, cellist Kian Soltani, and harpist Aline Khouri.
The evening will spotlight performances of Debussy’s Sonata in D Minor for Cello & Piano; Sonata in G Minor for Violin & Piano; Sonata for Flute, Viola & Harp; Syrinx for Flute; and Chansons de Bilitis.
