Festival Barenboim at Centro Cultural Kirchner

Daniel Barenboim returns to his native Argentina for the second edition of Festival Barenboim, running from July 23 to August 8.

The two-week festival offers a series of recitals, concerts, and lectures, including performances by the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, Martha Argerich, Anne-Sophie Mutter, and Rolando Villazón.

The festival launches on July 23 with Daniel Barenboim’s performance of Beethoven’s piano sonatas, a program which continues on July 26 and 28. Other festival highlights include a recital with Rolando Villazón (August 2), as well as multiple concert performances by the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra—which is currently celebrating its 20th anniversary—with soloists Michael Barenboim (July 31), Martha Argerich (August 4 and 5), and Anne-Sophie Mutter (August 7 and 8).
