Daniel Barenboim conducts the Wiener Philharmoniker at the Musikverein in concerts as pat of Wiener Festwochen 2014. On June 14, Barenboim leads the orchestra and guest soloist Bernarda Fink in Max Reger’s Requiem and Bruckner’s Fourth Symphony in E-Flat Major, “Romantic.” The following day on June 15, Barenboim conducts the Wiener Philharmoniker in a program that frames Reger’s Requiem with Schubert’s Gesang der Geister über den Wassern, D 714 and Mozart’s Symphony in C Major, KV 551, “Jupiter.”
