This month, Daniel Barenboim returns to the Staatsoper Unter den Linden, conducting Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro on April 1, 2, and 4. Directed by Vincent Huguet, the production features Elsa Dreisig (Countess Almaviva), Nadine Sierra (Susanna), Emily D’Angelo (Cherubino), Gyula Orendt (Count Almaviva), and Riccardo Fassi (Figaro). Next, on April 6, Daniel Barenboim joins longtime collaborator Martha Argerich for a recital of works for two pianos at the Festival de Pâques in Aix-en-Provence, France. This recital will be livestreamed free-of-charge on April 6 at 3:30pm ET/ 8:30pm CEST.
