This December, Daniel Barenboim tours Germany with a program of piano sonatas by Franz Schubert. The Argentinean born pianist performs Schubert’s Sonata in A Major, D 664; Sonata in A minor, D 845; and Sonata in D Major, "Gasteiner" D 850. Barenboim’s tour begins at Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie (December 9) before continuing on to Düsseldorf’s Tonhalle (December 10), Baden-Baden’s Festspielhaus (December 13), Stuttgart’s Liederhalle (December 14), and Mannheim’s Rosengarten Mozartsaal (December 18).
