Daniel Barenboim marks the arrival of 2014 as he leads the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra in its New Year’s Concert, a musical tradition that will be broadcast worldwide and recorded live for release by Sony Classical.
Barenboim and the Orchestra present a program of music by the Strauss family and their contemporaries, as well as well-known classics and new works. Sony Classical will release a live recording of the concert on CD, DVD, Blu-Ray, vinyl, and digital download available from January 10.
