On May 6, Daniel Barenboim and Russian soprano Anna Netrebko take the stage of Vienna’s Musikverein for a sold-out recital of works by Tchaikovsky and Rimsky-Korsakov. Their program features less-explored repertoire by the two composers, with song texts by Tolstoy and Pushkin, among other Russian poets. Barenboim and Netrebko can be heard performing together on In the Still of the Night, an album of art songs recorded live at the Salzburg Festival in 2009.
