From June 24 to July 6, Daniel Barenboim conducts five sold-out performances of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Don Giovanni at the Staatsoper Berlin’s Schiller Theater in a production by Claus Guth. Christopher Maltman portrays the opera’s iconic title character alongside Maria Bengtsson as Donna Anna, Dorothea Röschmann as Donna Elvira, Erwin Schrott as Leporello, and Anna Prohaska as Zerlina. This Don Giovanni production is Barenboim’s second of the year, having previously conducted the opera to open his inaugural season as the Teatro alla Scala’s Music Director. Learn more here.
