This February, Daniel Barenboim continues his two-season journey through the full cycle of Beethoven’s piano sonatas. The February recitals begin at the Klavier-Festival Ruhr (February 8) and continue at Pierre Boulez Saal (February 10 and 11).
The recital program includes Beethoven’s Sonata in G Major, op. 31/1; Sonata in C sharp Minor, op. 27/2: Moonlight Sonata; Sonata in F Major, op. 10/2; and Sonata in A flat Major, op. 110.
