The Pierre Boulez Saal Announces 2019/2020 Season

The Pierre Boulez Saal has announced it 2019/2020 season, featuring a celebration of Beethoven, chamber music, jazz, interdisciplinary performances, and more.

As founder of the Pierre Boulez Saal, Daniel Barenboim serves a key role in the institution, appearing in the 2019/2020 season as pianist, chamber musician, conductor, and mentor. Celebrating Beethoven’s 250th birthday, Barenboim dedicates three major concert cycles to the performance of the complete piano sonatas, violin sonatas—in a duo with Pinchas Zukerman—and piano trios—together with Michael Barenboim and Kian Soltani.

Leading the Boulez Ensemble, Barenboim conducts works by Bartók, Shostakovich, Carter, Francesconi, and Pierre Boulez.
