After touring with both the Staatskapelle Berlin and the Filarmonica della Scala in January and early February, Daniel Barenboim returns to the Staatsoper Berlin, where he has served as General Music Director since 1992. Beginning February 11, Barenboim leads six performances of Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro. This production by the Swiss director Thomas Langhoff features such acclaimed artists as sopranos Dorothea Roeschmann, Anna Prohaska, and Christine Schaefer.
