This fall Daniel Barenboim conducts the Filarmonica della Scala in three concerts, featuring music by Mozart and Mahler’s Ninth Symphony, at the Milan house November 12, 14, and 15. The La Scala Music Director opens the performances as pianist and conductor in Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 27 in B-flat major, K595 before leading Mahler’s Symphony No. 9.
