On March 13, 15, and 16, Daniel Barenboim will lead the Filarmonica della Scala in three concerts at the Teatro alla Scala. Barenboim’s program with the Filarmonica opens with Nicolai’s overture to Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor, followed by Elgar’s Falstaff – Symphonic Study in C minor. Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony in E minor rounds out the program.
