This fall Daniel Barenboim conducts the Filarmonica della Scala in three concerts, featuring music by Mozart and Mahler’s Ninth Symphony, at the Milan house November 12, 14, and 15. This weekend with the Wiener Philharmoniker, Daniel Barenboim conducts a program comprising Schubert’s Symphony No. 8, “Unfinished” and works by Pierre Boulez.
